EKOBO is a love story, a dream and a commitment to improving the way we engage with people and our planet. Our creative process is fueled by our own family, our 3 girls; each collection expands as our own kids grow.

Since its creation in 2003, we’ve evolved EKOBO from being experts in bamboo tableware into a home living brand specializing in the design and manufacture of contemporary home accessories made from ecologically-sensitive materials.

We've always pursued the same mission: to be devoted to improving the way we engage with people and our planet. We believe that going green is not trend, but rather a commitment to constantly improve our products through the most innovative design and manufacturing solutions available today.

“While bamboo has always been at the center of our work, we’ve evolved our range over the years to introduce other sustainable materials such as cork, rePET fabric, food-grade silicone and GOTS certified organic cotton. Our premium bamboo fiber collection started with one kid set. As new parents of our first daughter (now 19!), we quickly saw the need for reusable, non-toxic dishware for kids. Leaning on years of expertise in Fairtrade bamboo handicraft and our background in product design, in 2010, we developed what is now our signature BIOBU® bamboo fiber eco-composite. We now offer over 500 references in a wide palette of forms and colors; thoughtful products designed for modern living, both indoors and outdoors.”
